Abstract:	მოცემულ ნაშრომში განხილულია ტყის ხანძრების პრობლემა. აღწერილია ხანძრების ერთ-ერთი გამომწვევი მიზეზი − ე.წ. მშრალი ელჭექი. წარმოდგენილია ამ მოვლენის ფიზიკური არსი და წარმოქმნის პირობები. მოყვანილია ზოგიერთი სტატისტიკური მონაცემი ტყის ხანძრების შესახებ მსოფლიოს სხვადასხვა რეგიონისათვის. მოცემულია ხანძარსაშიშროების ერთ-ერთი ინდექსის გამოსათვლელი ფორმულა. მითითებულია ხანძარისაგან დაცვის ძირითადი რეკომენდაციები. The problem of forest fires is discussed in this paper. One of the causes of the fire is described - the so-called dry Thunderstorm. The physical essence of this event, the conditions of its origin are presented. Here are some forest fire statistics for different regions of the world. The formula for calculating one of the fire hazard indices is given. Basic fire prevention measures are indicated.
