| Abstract: | Terms denoting products of animal breeding (fleece, pelt) take a significant part in a herdsman vocabulary in Megrelian. The paper deals with up to 150 word-forms representing types offleece and pelt, their processing, purpose, tools, etc. A part of the words are specific just for Megrelian language while others are used in common Kartvelian vocabulary. Part of the words from is adopted from Megrelian (or Kartvelian) by neighboring languages. |
